Some random pics.

Sick Wizard from East Moline, IL. If you can't make it out, he's holding an eagle's claw which is holding a power orb.

Should have posted this yesterday. Nitetrotter Fest started last night and marks the end of Mixtapes (or just shows at Mixtapes? I'm not quite clear on the deats but either way, SAD) in East Moline, IL. Today Big Fun 4ever and Terrior Bute play along with like 5 billion other bands. Tomorrow is Cave and Catacombz and like 10 bazillion more.

We're hitting that sweet spot of the summer where sick touring bands stop through on the weekdays (aka in between "important" towns) with increasing frequency, and in the case of this week Wednesday, it's starting to get absurd. On June 23, JEFF The Brotherhood, Cave, Quintron and Miss Pussycat and Genesis Climber all descend upon Milwaukee to wreak what will surely be TOTAL MUSICAL HAVOC. Plan rides accordingly, as you'll have to jet from the Borg Ward to Cactus Club as well as make some tricky life choices: stay for Quest for Fire's sure to blazing LP release set or go catch the reinvigorated Catacombz which now features Sam from Big Fun 4ever? That's what they call a "good problem".

Borg Ward 823 W. National Ave. 7PM Quest for Fire (LP release), Genesis Climber (CA), Jeff the Brotherhood (TN), Dear Astronaut ALL AGES

Cactus Club 2496 S. Wentworth Ave. 9PM Quintron and Miss Pussycat, Cave, Catacombz 21+ $10

STAY TUNED later in the day I'm posting the flyer for next week's Sewn Leather/DJ Dog Dick jumpoff...

CAVE IS BACK IN MILWAUKEE ON TUESDAY!
