2 NEW VICIOUS POP EPs OUT NOW! GRAB THEM @ TURNTABLE LAB!!

EGYPTRIXX "ALL THAT JELLY" EP: 'With the tons of hyped up (but utterly mediocre) dance music that comes out these days, it's pretty hard to stand apart from the herd. Not the case with Toronto's Egyptrixx. His "All That Jelly" EP surprised and impressed me. It manages to skip around and merge styles while maintaining a high level of quality and creativity throughout - whether its the retro house vibes of the title track, the twisted diva bass house of "Use Magic To Kill Death," or the wicked dubstep style of "Reconnect." He also has an A-list of remixers including DJ Godfather on the ghettotech bounce of "The Forgiveness Rhythm," recent Mad Decent signee L-Vis 1990 on a hybrid take of "Use Magic...". Definitely be on the lookout for this kid.' -snackmaster 07/15/2009 turntablelab.com

DEEJAY YAY YAY "HEATWAVE" EP: 'Wow, kids are gettin' real wild with the DJ names these days. At least he's not taking himself to serously! That being said, Texas' Deejay Yay Yay has got some crazy tracks that rival the craziness of his name. This dudes all about gettin' stupid on the track as evident on "Pimplo y Pimplo." That has gotta be the most retarded, slurpy fart bass I've ever heard! Coupled with the ridiculous "Pimplo, Pimplo" samples, this track is just bananas. "It's That Boi Jamal" and "Heatwave" go for a similar formula, but "Pimplo" is the winner.' -suicide bangs 07/15/2009 turntablelab.com
